Students
We provide financial and volunteer support to help students reach their academic goals.
We fundraise to ensure that all students have free access to extra educational and recreational opportunities many families cannot afford — like school t-shirts, a book at the annual Book Fair, field trips, playground equipment, supplies for creative learning opportunities, school assemblies, toys for the Discovery Center, Family Fun Nights, and a 4th grade picnic.
We volunteer to empower students to succeed academically and thrive in school. Students whose parents volunteer in school tend to have improved social skills, earn better grades, have a more positive attitude about school, and are less inclined to disrupt the learning process. Improvements like this benefit the entire class throughout the year.
Race for Education (Fall)
The Race for Education is an exercise-focused fundraiser in which all BSES students walk or jog ¼ mile laps as many times as possible during a 45-minute fun run event. We raise funds by asking family members, friends, & community partners to sponsor students in the race.
Read-A-Thon (Spring)
READ-A-THON is a reading-focused fundraiser in which all BSES students complete reading challenges to earn prizes. Students raise money by reading stories aloud to family & friends for donations or by simply asking for sponsors to support their reading challenge.
4th Grade Picnic
Every year during the last full day of school, we throw a day-long picnic to celebrate our graduating 4th grade students before they advance to the middle school.

Sports & Clubs
The greater Bermudian Springs community provides several extracurricular sports & clubs so kids can stay active, learn, & grow. These activities are not coordinated by the school district or PTO.
Transition to Middle School
Making the transition from the elementary school to the middle school can be a nerve-racking experience for our 4th grade students & their parents. We have the information your family needs to prepare for the change.
